We spent months testing over a dozen motors for the ITSY EVO and these motors provide the best efficiency, power and smoothness for 3S power.
important: if using on the ITSY EVO. Please use the m2x4 waver head motor screws in the green bag that come with the kit and use a high-quality M1.3 hex driver to really tighten down the motor screws. The holes in the motors are depth tapped to prevent you from accidentally putting long screws into the winding of the motor and ruining them.
in addition, if you are using the TuneRC POLY F405, please make sure to run 48khz firmware on your esc’s and set the following sliders in the settings page:
Set 1025 for minimum startup power ( boost)
Set 1080 for minimum startup power ( protection)
On 3S 720 (HV) cells, we are seeing 6-7 minutes cruising in outdoor (real world) conditions. For more aggressive flight performance (acro style) flying, we recommend using 660mah HV cells (3S) and are getting acro flight times of 5-6 minutes.
